Half-day · 5 hours

Five hours to put it all down.

A half-day on a single theme: burnout. It runs in two halves with a break in the middle. The first half opens things up. The second goes deeper, because by then your body knows the room.

Who it is for

For the people who look like they are coping.

Nobody has to explain themselves at the door, but if you are wondering whether your reason counts, here is what usually walks in.

On paper, everything is fine

You are working. You are managing. Nobody has raised a concern and nobody would. Still, you know, quietly and with some certainty, that something is wrong.

Nothing dramatic happened

No single event you could point to. Just years of getting on with it. You may have decided your experience was not bad enough to count.

Something did happen, and talking has not moved it

You have done the sessions. You can explain it clearly. It is still there in your chest at three in the morning.

What happens

The same session, twice, on one theme.

Every session runs the same way, whatever the format. The half-day runs it twice: the first half opens things up, the second goes deeper, because by then your body knows the room.

Breath first: five stages, each doing a different job, at whatever pace is right for you, until the fog clears. Then you go toward whatever is holding, with me alongside, and let go of something out loud. Something may move, or nothing may, and both are ordinary sessions. Then we put something back: you are told, plainly, that you were never broken, and given music, warmth and time lying down with nothing asked of you.

Before you book

Three questions people ask first.

The rest, with the full answers, are on the FAQ page.

I have never done this. Will I be out of my depth?
No. Most rooms have several first-timers and everything is explained from the start. It is not a cult. It is a room in Lancashire with some mats in it.
Do I have to talk?
Not one word. There is a chance to share afterwards if you want it, and nobody minds at all if you do not. Everything is an invitation.
Is there anyone who should not do this?
Yes, and I would rather tell you now than at the door. Some things are a no and some need a conversation first. Message me before you book. The full list is on the who should not do this page.
